Tadpole Talk

             I think that we are all ready for the Christmas Program! We practiced each afternoon this week. We made one of our Christmas presents for our parents this week as well. Merry Christmas to you! We have started our Christmas Packet that explains the birth of Jesus starting with the angel Gabriel visiting Mary. The 1st graders story of the week was learning all about snakes! We learned that there are different sizes, different colors, different habitats, and some that are poisonous and non-poisonous. Pretty interesting stuff! 2nd graders are learning their odds and evens in math while 1st graders are learning how to subtract.

Reminders

• Don’t forget to bring a plate of cookies to share at the Christmas Program on Sunday. Students will need to be here by 1:30.
• Last day of the quarter is December 21st.
• Students can wear Christmas wear each day next week. For an example; Christmas sweaters or a Christmas dress.
• We will return to school on January 3rd! See ya next year!!

Next Week's Agenda

We will spend next week doing activities that prepare us for the birth of Jesus. Our party will take place on the 21st at 10:15. Please don’t forget to send a gift with your child ($5 limit). I can accept them as soon as you would like to bring them.
