ACADEMICS

"What we learn with pleasure, we never forget."
Alfred Mercier
Academic Excellence at SPPS At Sts. Peter and Paul School, our academic philosophy is simple: we balance rigorous, hands-on learning with the sheer joy of being a child. We strive to make learning highly engaging, ensuring our students not only meet their critical milestones but develop the academic confidence required to succeed in Junior High and beyond.
The Small Class Advantage We are incredibly proud to be known for our highly individualized student instruction. Because of our small class sizes, we never have to teach to the "middle." Our teachers have the time, flexibility, and dedication to meet your child exactly where they are. Whether a student needs extra support to grasp a concept or an extra challenge to stay engaged, our classrooms are designed to adapt to their unique needs.
Data-Driven Confidence To support our personalized teaching style, we utilize MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) testing. MAP is an innovative, norm-referenced assessment used to measure achievement and growth in math, reading, and language usage. We use these assessments not to cause stress, but to build student confidence and provide our teachers with detailed, actionable data. It serves as a clear roadmap, helping us chart each child's growth over time and tailor our instruction to fit their specific learning path. Sts. Peter & Paul students scored higher than 66% of students nationwide!
