Mrs. Karen Nolte

 Mrs. Karen Nolte was raised in Montrose, IA. She moved to Nauvoo in 2000 when she was commuting to Western Illinois University. Mrs. Nolte graduated from WIU with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with Middle School Endorsements in Language Ars and Social Studies. After graduation, she spent a few years substituting in the area where she was able to gain a lot of experience at all different grade levels. She then took a job at Nauvoo-Colusa as a one-on-one aide, then taught third grade. In 2021 she felt God’s call to join the SPPS family, she has taught first and second grade here at SPPS. She still currently resides in Nauvoo with her husband and two beautiful children, both of whom attend SPPS! Mrs. Nolte and her husband have a hobby farm with lots of fun critters. They enjoy tending to their animals, spending time together as a family, and enjoying the outdoors. Mrs. Nolte is a kind and dedicated teacher, she is excellent at ensuring each student reaches their full potential.
