Student Life at Sts. Peter and Paul
At Sts. Peter and Paul School, student life is about so much more than what happens in the margins of a textbook. As Father Tony reminds us, "study, worship of Jesus Christ, and formation in virtue, play, and friendship lead to a respect and a treasuring of the unity and the dignity of each student. It's all one thing!" We are a welcoming community dedicated to fostering academic confidence, spiritual growth, and strength of character in every single child.
Because our ultimate mission is to educate and guide our students to be leaders for Christ, our daily student life is intentionally designed around teaching the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Kids. We don't just expect good behavior; we actively give our students the tools to be proactive, to listen to others, to work synergistically, and to lead with servant hearts.
This leadership model is brought to life every day through our seven core values:
Faith Formation & Tradition: We see the light of Christ in all and foster a life rooted in prayer , while striving to share our rich local and cultural heritage with our students.
Academic Excellence & Joy: We are dedicated to rigorous, joyful learning. We want our students to live with gladness and gratitude, reflecting the hope of the Gospel in their friendships and studies.
Respect, Integrity, & Compassion: We treat each person with dignity , act with moral courage , and cultivate empathy and kindness in everything we do.
Whether they are leading a service project, playing at recess, or collaborating on a science fair project, an SPPS student is always learning how to be a highly effective, faith-filled citizen of the world.
