Good afternoon SPPS families! Cash Dash Tickets went home in the oldest child's bookbag last week. Please make sure you have gotten yours! We only have 200 tickets to sell. We do ask that each family sell at least 1. You can either buy it yourself, sell it to a friend, or even have multiple people buy a ticket together. If you would like more tickets, they are available in the office but please only take what you can sell. If you are unable to sell yours, please return the ticket to the office. Thanks so much for supporting the 2024 CASH DASH! The Early Bird Drawing is coming up November 10th!

Just a reminder that there is NO Nauvoo Colusa bus service tomorrow. Also a reminder that ALL students need to bring a sack lunch since we will not have lunch service. Thank you!

We are getting ready to send out invitations to our annual Veterans Day Program. We have all the addresses from the previous two years but please email any additional ones to office@sts.peterpaul.org by the end of the day! Thanks!

Tomorrow is a regular casual day. No donations necessary but please make sure it's school appropriate!

Just a couple reminders. School pictures ARE tomorrow! Students do NOT have to wear uniforms. They can wear something nice for pictures but they can wear uniform shirts if you wish! Tomorrow is also Pet Blessing. You may bring pets to the school at 2:00 PM and Father Tony will be coming around to bless them around 2:10. Students may NOT bring their animals with them to school. They must be brought by an adult no earlier than 2:00. We understand not everyone can bring an animal so students are welcome to bring a photo instead if they would like. Call the office if you have any questions at all! 217-453-2511. Thank you!

We are so sorry for the inconvenience, but the bus is not going to be able to run this morning. We got a new bus last week and this morning something is not working correctly and it is unsafe to drive. We have someone coming to look at it right away and we hope it will be running this afternoon. We will be in contact as the day progresses and we have more information. Again, we are so sorry for this inconvenience.

After much discussion, we have decided that school will dismiss today AND tomorrow at 1:00 pm due to the excessive heat. This decision is based on our SPPS bus not having air conditioning and almost half of our students ride the bus. This means no afternoon Nauvoo Colusa bus service. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. The SPPS bus will be running.

Tomorrow will be August birthday day! If your SPPS student had a birthday in August, they can dress out of dress code tomorrow!

The SPPS uniform shirt store is back OPEN !
You may order uniforms until Monday, August 26th at noon. See the link below! We will not open it back up until this winter so please plan accordingly.

Just a reminder that we DO have a full day of school tomorrow. Public school does not, therefore there is NO Nauvoo Colusa Bus transportation Friday, August 16th nor is there lunch service. ALL STUDENTS MUST BRING A SACK LUNCH AND DRINK TOMORROW! Thank you!

Just a reminder that TOMORROW is our first day of school! Students may arrive as early at 7:45. We will go to Circle Prayer together at approximately 8:00am. There will be a photo backdrop in the gym as well as the RePete Trailer in the parking lot! Please be sure to stop by and get a delicious drink. These beverages are only for adults please. We dismiss early at 1:00PM. There is NO NAUVOO COLUSA BUS! The SPPS bus will be running though. If your child is going home any other way than their "normal" way, please let the office know at 217-453-2511. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

A Kid Zone will be available from 12:00 - 3:00 pm as well. We hope to see you all there to support our school as well as have an amazing time!

Reminder there is no Nauvoo Colusa Bus. If you are taking your child home today directly from the picnic and not riding the SPPS bus, please let Mrs. Wheatley know. Thanks so much!

Great news! The bus is fixed and will be running as normal all week. Thank you again for being so understanding!

Mr. Knipe apologizes for all the craziness this afternoon. We have a company coming to take a look at the bus hopefully get it up and running. If not, we are trying to see if we can borrow a bus for the next couple days, but if that’s not possible unfortunately we will not have a bus the last three days of school. We will relay information this evening as soon as we get it, but we just want to thank everybody for being flexible on the situation.

The activity bus is leaving Warsaw right now and heading towards Carthage and should arrive in about 30 minutes

We are having some bus troubles. The kids are currently located at the Warsaw Football field. If you would like to pick up your child there, please head that direction. If not, we are getting the Warsaw activity bus to take the rest of the kids to their stops. Please text Trevor with any questions (309) 331-0541.

Due to there not being a Warsaw stop today, SPPS bus times are as follows: Nauvoo daycare 3:00, Carthage 3:25 Hamilton 4:00 Thank you!
